Boyfriends, girlfriends and daters - not living together ,

What is the longest length of time (in days or hours) that is acceptable for you to not contact your boyfriend / girlfriend / date or for them not to contact you? By contact, I mean phone call, emails, text messages etc

I'd like to know everyone's perspective (except you're living together). I understand that it may vary as they're might be busy, out of town, it may be a long term relationship etc.

A simple one sentence would be adequate :)

2-3 days would actually be OK for me but I am aware that this isn't OK for most folk so I do have contact more than that when seeing someone new.

Hopefully as time goes on we'd reach a happy medium. :)

If I'm seeing them regularly in person, a little break of a couple of days is no problem.

If it was an LDR, contact would become more important and more frequent. I suppose it depends on what kind of relationship it is.

For me, no longer than two days. If you love someone you would want to at least check in with them once a day if you aren't seeing each other everyday. :bunny:

1 Day

If we are in an exclusive relationship then I want to touch base each day with my bf even if It's 2 minutes. If he skips a day it's alright but no more. It's not a matter of cligniness it's just how I want my relationships to be. I talk to my friends each day, talk to my daughter each day and I want to talk to my boyfriend each day.
