Bantosm Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 I'm trying to improve my skill when it comes to flirting with complete strangers. I usually date females that I've know for awhile. Although it does provide me with better background knowledge. It is very time consuming and I'm not getting enough dates. I've been trying to improve my skill of flirting with strangers. As I go from class to class, I see all kind of new women who I have no contact through my classes. I'm good at smiling and getting them to smile and then I'll talk for a few minutes. The conversation will usually end like this: I'm kind of seeing someone or at the moment- I'm interested in someone. Then I give up. I know that if they're not dating someone exclusive there should be some easy way to maneuver past this, but my dating skills are lacking. Any tips to get around that block?
d0nnivain Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 As you have figured out, it's a numbers game. Just keep meeting new people & talking to them. If they tell you they are otherwise involved move on. It's a timing thing.
Author Bantosm Posted March 16, 2014 Author Posted March 16, 2014 I was thinking that most women tend not to give their numbers to random guys even if they are interested. Women seem to want a guy to put in a minimal amount of effort before they will give their number or contact information and some small talk is usually not enough, so they say interested in someone. I could tell they were either interested or were surprised by the attention, whereas women who I found to be actually involved in a relationship, show no interest at all.
regine_phalange Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Sometimes I may flirt with the appearance of teasing if I am in the mood, but it happens rarely. I am usually not very receptive to flirting from strangers - I'd rather it not seem like flirting at all. I prefer the casual conversation you would do with someone at a queue, at a store, or while watching a public happening.
Keenly Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 I flirt with cute fast food cashiers all the time. I do it to A) make their days a little better, since those jobs suck. But also B) if they think I'm cute, and I make them feel good, usually they will give me free stuff.

Just don't flirt too long or they will get fired and you will cause a win-lose scenario
