Gaeta Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Lmao a black man on a dating profile in Oshawa? I'd get NEXTed (overlooked) so many times. The thing about online dating is that you will open yourself to a much bigger field. You will expose yourself to the outside world of your campus to women a little older that have traveled, that are open minded and are less intimidated by *different*.
TheKook Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 I been single for 3 years up here. But that just motivates me to hit the gym more and get good grades. I am confident, but forming a relationship is easier when both parties are equally motivated. Congrats on your 9/10 man hope you guys had fun while it lasted. What happened? Can you reignite the fire? It's a bit of a story! It wasn't a bad breakup, it was kinda mutual although she initiated it. She was extremely busy and stressed out with school and I was a bit busy although I still made time for her. We grew distant due to not being able to see eachother as much as we would've liked, and she said she felt like she was hurting me because of it and couldn't appreciate me. She also felt like she was taking her stress out on our relationship. Not to mention she said her schedule was going to be even worse for the next two months. No hard feelings between us, but we've been NC since the night of the breakup. I have no trouble getting over her, but for some reason I still want her lol. She was a really awesome girl. I know she still likes me, as she asks mutual friends about me, watches my snapchat still, and also uses her friends to pry information out of me... Not to mention I went to one of her choir concerts and she completely froze on stage when she looked me in the eyes in the audience. No more words escaped her mouth and the song ended and she was really embarassed. Afterwards, she came up to me, told me it was great to see me there and then explained why she messed up saying she just forgot the words (Which was bull**** according to everyone else.). Then she split after that and I haven't heard from or seen her since lol. We never even really got a chance to get that close to eachother so I feel like our breakup wasn't even a massive change. Maybe we'll reconcile at the end of the school year when she has time again, but I'm not holding my breath. I don't even know how we'd end up talking again.
Author ConfidentandSexual Posted March 16, 2014 Author Posted March 16, 2014 Yeah maybe I could give it a try. Thanks guys.

I wouldn't be surprised if you guys got back together again. I know you already know this, just live your life and if things are meant to be they will fall together when the time is right.

She was extremely upset when we broke up, I know it hurt her more than it hurt me. I have a feeling she'll turn up again in the future. I was the best boyfriend she's ever had after all. Whilst she was bawling her eyes out, she told me I was the sweetest most understanding person she's ever met in her life. Anyways, follow the same advice haha. Just keep trying, you'll find someone for sure. And yeah get into the gym and lift heavy! I've been hitting the gym for the past three months and I go hard. The results I'm getting are making a huge difference.
FitChick Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Go on POF and OKCupid and search for women in the city where you plan to move. If you became friendly with one or two, you could at least visit and have them show you around. Women like getting to know men slowly so this is one way of doing it. You might wind up with a good reason to move.

As i stated I look similar to trey songs so I put a photo of trey songs with the caption " i look similar to this" on POF to see the results. No one answered lmao.... But i guess its because its not my picture? But still, I'm sure they wouldnt answer with my real pic.

Gaeta Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 A real picture will always work in your favor. Also go check your competition. Make a search of black men in your age range.
