Tayken Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 (edited) Sometimes people just want to be alone...unfortunately that is the downside of being in a relationship / being married. You want them, and they want to be alone. This phenomenon has been known to split many a couple up. Note that is most of the time nothing to do with you or that person....it's usually external stressors that act as a catalyst here i.e. exams, work issues and periods etc Edited March 15, 2014 by Tayken

OP, sometimes people neglect things when in a relationship. Like housework, or friends, or family. For some, it can be easy to get caught up in their partner. A few days off gives them a chance to catch up on the other things in their life. Look at it as an opportunity to the things that your partner might hate. Like play your favourite music loudly, play video games, etc. Or wash clothes, do the housework, stock the fridge, go for a beer with a mate, etc.

Hello_is_it_me Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 -Because it's the final frontier!! Srs though, needing a little alone time is a normal thing. Don't you feel the same way sometimes? Also there's that saying of "absence makes the heart grow fonder." If you're around her 24/7 it might kill some of the spark/intrigue/whatever in your relationship.
