M30USA Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 I have my boys all this week and it's been great. Starts to feel NORMAL again. I'm making sure to have plenty of down time doing normal, routine things in between the fun stuff.
Movingforward2 Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Going to Florida with my daughters. And XW. Riding in a car for 8 hours. Been divorced 2 months. Should be interesting.

Mr.Milked Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Going to Florida with my daughters. And XW. Riding in a car for 8 hours. Been divorced 2 months. Should be interesting. That would have been absolute torture for me. I don't even want to fathom that in my mind it's so horrendous. But then again, I have the hindsight vision of my ww already cheating on me during our last vacation with the kids... :/
Movingforward2 Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Confusing and probably ignorant I know. However, I can suck it up 5 days for our kids. The only torture is that we will have a great time, and when we get back, unless there is a miracle reconciliation is off the table.

Movingforward2 Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 We just decided to do it "as normal". Same with Xmas, everything was "normal". Neither one of us have really moved on, and both are somewhat stuck. I know. Weird. All of our friends think it is as well. I rushed the divorce to get it over, but the emotional part has been rough and definitely hasn't been dealt with. 1
Movingforward2 Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Did you volunteer for this? What gives? Just an update. We all had a great time. The elephant in the room was not addressed, but it was like "old" but "new times". There was no arguing, no bickering, etc. XW and I even went out for St. Patrick's day. A lot of mixed messages, and very different situation than most on here. It's like we are "going with the flow", but I don't really know where we stand. A Memorial Day trip was even talked about. Crazy might be an understatement. Anyone been in this situation? Advice appreciated.
