User1045 Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Very aware of the saying ex is an ex for a reason. With ex gf 6 years. She broke up with me in June. She left because I didn't really seem all that into her. I'll admit I'm not a romantic guy but I treated her well. However I have a history with depression which probably made me distant from her so I see where she's coming from. Well she wants to come back to me. I'm split. Loved this girl to death, and 6 years is long to just throw away but can I count on her in the future when she walked away when I was depressed? I have yet to meet up with her as I haven't decided if it's a good idea yet. Opinions?
lvroflife Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 That fear u have is very common. A way to get over it is be honest with her. Make her explain what will happen next time you're at your low point. Ask her "how can I be so sure you won't just walk away from me again? How can I be sure you'll stand and fight when things are not rosy?" She has to regain your trust
