Love isn't a game.

It turns into a game when the love begins to fade.

The one who lets go and moves on first wins.

The one who lingers in the memory loses.

Lol. You'll be ok once you accept defeat.

We live to love another day and hopefully not have to play the stupid games again once it's over but if it happens at least we know how to win next time.

Good point! LOL!

I'm starting to think he did me a favor and I dodged a bullet. (honestly)

Instead of thanking him, I think I'll just live an amazing and wonderful life to show my appreciation :D

F*ck. I hate this because it's so true. It's unfortunate. What's the point of dating??

Soon there will be no such thing as dating or relationships. Because of these movies and books that portray a relationship as easy all the time.

And people so scare to talk. Also, people not learning that you will never be in the honeymoon phase for the entire relationship. And that you bare going to have to fall in and out of love over and over, that's a part that keeps the relationship exciting. But nope, once people lose the in love feeling "game" is over.

Yes!!

on the beach with a bonfire and sleeping bags and lots of cocktails!

It would be an AMAZING party that we all deserve after all the heartache we've endured!

(cheers!) :D

I can only speak for myself but what makes it worth it for me is I want to feel that happiness again.

Also, and not to be crude but, I miss the sex! :D

Not just the physical part but the kissing and cuddling and feeling a man breathe.

I guess if I don't date, I'll never get to experience that again.

I'm WAY to weak to go without that the rest of my life! LOL!!!!

Great response guys.

See, there is humour in the loss and as long as we look back and learn something from it then we are definitely going to be ok in the future.

The future is very bright so just keep on moving. ;)

I don't see it that way. Love is a wonderful thing while it lasts but conversations like this can at least help make us become more aware about how we should deal with things once the games start.

The message is pretty much just be strong. When things start falling apart just be strong and don't let your soon to be ex lover take advantage of your feelings towards them when they start trying to act all distant and emotionally unavailable.....beat them to the punch, protect your emotions and do what's in your own best interests then you will be the one on the winning end.
