Hey everyone.

Its been a little over 6 months since "D-Day" and my life was turned upside down.

Fast Forward 6 months, I'm in a brand new relationship with an awesome girl. I have been hitting the gym constantly, and now in killer shape. Things are finally starting to settle down and the haziness and fog is starting to clear.

Been in NC for a solid 4 months not reaching out and ignoring her texts when they come in randomly. Probably haven't seen the last of them. Last I heard is that she was sad on Valentines Day and spent it with her sister, while I had a hot date. Although she shouldn't know, getting even is not part of the plan. Getting over her is.

My advice:

1. Stay Active, push yourself to get into good shape to release those feel good endorphin's. I joined Crossfit on a whim and have been doing it since.

2. Don't give up hope, even if it hurts, keep pushing forward.

3. Actively pursue hobbies; this is especially important.

4. Stay optimistic, something I kept thinking of was; I will trade another few months or even a year of being upset over my breakup for a lifetime of happiness with another woman that I get to settle down with.

5. Avoid coming to this website too often because it tends to have a negative outlook as everyone is going through a rough time which is clearly understandable. Stay clear sometimes, and avoid those desperate and irrational outlooks.

Long story short: I am not 100% over the loss of my ex. But I am actively trying to dictate my life and not have my break up dictate it for me. I have met a new girl who is a lot of things I wanted in my ex. Still unsure if it will last, but I am giving it my best shot.

Good luck everyone.
