I hate the time when u want to ask a girl out to actually starting a relationship. I tend to over analyze everything and I just drive myself crazy, thus i came on here to see if i can get some help ....LOL Ok heres the story ....Been goin to this sports bar for a few yrs now with a couple of buddies every sunday during football season. We have become friends with 3 girl bartenders there. One big happy group ! We have a lot of fun! 2 girls i thought were given me flirting signs, and not the stuff that goes on for a big tip like i said we have been friends for a few yrs now ! so i asked one girl out to a basketball game and dinner. Normally on dates I am so nervous and shy its ridiculous !! But on this one from the time we met until the time she left the conversation flowed and we had a great time. We had a lot in common. We even had the same credit card with the 6 little puppies on it, signs like that all night long.....LOL. The next day I sent her a dozen tulips and said that I had a great time last night. When i got to the bar on Sunday she was workin and waiting for me with a cute little smile and said thanks for the flowers they were beautiful. During the night she would stop by and talk as much as she could without pissin off her guests...lol.....if she couldnt stop and talk she would walk by and nudge me to let me know she was there. Or when she did stop by and talk she would touch my arm and stuff (signs that she is interested). But me the shy idiot couldnt get around to askin her out again. And the night ended with me leaving the bar with no second date !!! It all sounds pretty obvious what to do but like i said before I tend to over analyze everything. Part of me says she does like me but the other part just says wishful thinking or shes just being nice cause we go to the sports bar every sunday....LOL....i just feel if she didnt want to go out she would say no then. I dont want to smother her by asking her out to often right away ...but i want her to know that i am interested ! So to all my new friends waht does this shy guy have to do ? Thanks for ur help !

ginny turk Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 You are doing great! I think one of the most attractive qualities in a man...is confidence. Just ask her out!!! You have nothing to lose. I'd wish you luck, but I don't think you are going to need it.
