I've become fairly exhausted with the dating scene. Over the past 8 months, I have dated a variety of women from a free online dating service. I dated one for 3 months, another for about a month, and a several dates with a few more. Its probably been about 10 women total.

The woman I dated for 3 months had a lot of potential but things fizzled out. I'm a bit exhausted with dating. Despite looking for a long term mate, I'm considering settling for a more casual relationship for the short term. Like most single folks, I have some unmet sexual needs. Is it wrong to have a casual relationship?

Any suggestions on improving my dating success as a single professional? I work in a small company and most of my friends are married or in LTR.

It is definitely not wrong to have a casual relationship with someone, but only when you are honest with the other person about what you are looking for. And who knows, maybe your casual relationship will surprise you and end up being something more serious.

By the way, I do understand about the dating exhaustion as I have been in your same situation until two months ago.:)

At what point would I need to be "honest." How did you manage to fight through the exhaustion to find a compatible mate? Did casual relationship help?
