I know saying those three infamous words are a big step in any language. But I've come to notice that in english speaking countries, especially in the US, people use the "I love you" way more than in the country I live in. You use is for your friends or just to communicate how awesome you find a person, or how funny you find him. Please don't misunderstand me, I don't think this to be a bad thing at all, I use it a lot with my american friends too.

But in the country I live in people never use "I love you" on friends, maybe to their best friend.

So I was just wondering if this means I should wait even longer before saying it?
