One of my good friends accused his girlfriend of cheating, was wrong, and now his GF is mad at him. He thinks she won't talk to him again but I think he's wrong. My ex-GF accused me TWICE and it DID tee me off both times but I also forgave her. So, have you forgiven your SO for wrongful accusations? My bro is pretty distraught and I've told him to just give her time and space and they'll talk later and have a good chance at working it out. I know me and my ex did.

If I have given him no reason to distrust me and he knows me very well then I would be very hurt and reconsider the relationship. I don't think I would get over being accused of something serious. I have no time for that nonsense nor insecurity behaviors.

I accused my husband of wanting to cheat. I didn't think he actually had cheated because the woman was very open about making sure I knew she wasn't a threat & was simply a work colleague.

It was a whole big dramatic thing that involved my husband leaving me alone in a bar in a strange city to walk her & several other women back to the hotel where the work group was staying for extended training. I had come to the city to see my husband who I hadn't seen in about a month.

We had a huge fight. I ended up leaving the city. I didn't talk to him for the next two days.

Eventually we worked through it.

Thanks! That's what my bro needs to hear. I've been telling him, these things happen. And they get worked out. Before you post, please to remember that I asked if you HAVE forgiven or maybe WOULD, not why you haven't or wouldn't. Thanks! :bunny:

Have never been in that position of being accused of cheating but it would have to depend on he thought I was cheating. I don't think I would forgive since for me there is no point in staying in a relationship that lacks trust.
