We have really flirty conversations but he didn't call even though he said he would?

There is this guy who goes to my university lets call him Mark. We have really great conversations via text and he asks me questions about my love life, future plans etc.

 

Me and this guy have only actually spoken twice face to face although we see each quite often, we are always really busy to stop and chat. He mentioned that he very rarely gets to talk to me in person and he much prefers it.

 

He told me that he would give me a call when he knew we were both free on Friday and even gave me a time when he would call so we could get a coffee and just sit and chat for a while.

 

I actually passed him multiple times during that day and he looked right at me, I smiled as did he but I was on my way out so I couldn't stop. Every time he saw me he would stare at me and stop whatever he was doing (although I pretended not to see him) but he never called or text me at all.

 

He still hasn't and I can't understand. Generally I know if a guy isn't interested but I don't get this vibe from him.

 

Does anyone understand what the hell is going on in his head??

I feel like you should let a guy call you for a convo like that or have it face to face, not text. I get that texting is the thing to do these days but I feel like allowing them to just carry on endless text convos all the time makes it too easy for them and makes you too available. They will feel less of a need to go on a date. And if they make excuses about not calling, they deserve to be a friend at best, not a date.

I guess that's your answer. He's not all that interested for whatever reason. Next time look away instead of smiling. lol I'd like to see his reaction when he sees you with someone else. Good luck
