Angel luis Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Is it a good idea to build my ego up by getting pay back to the dumper? We ended the relationship in good terms in my opinion. I was always there for her treated her way better than her past relationships. It's been a month of no contact, she only texted me twice. The first time she wanted to pick up some movies she left but after I texted her I was gonna be working the following day I was not gonna be able to I've them to her, but I suggested I was gonna leave them with my sister in order for her to pick them up. That been said she said maybe someother time. The second time she texted saying" are you gonna be busy later". This time I didn't even bother replying. This builds my ego up and it's making me feel way better. I did everything for her and It seems that I just walk alway when she broke up with me.(btw she is very stubborn person)
Elias33 Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Payback is like a doughnut. Short term good, long term not so good. Be the best person you can be despite of what others do to you. That is what they call the ultimate payback. 1

Revenge is something common for people who have been blatantly disrespected (even thought it's still not a good idea then) but you said you guys were on good terms? Just because this girl doesn't want to be with you does not mean she;s done anything wrong. I treated my ex great, we had an otherwise good relationship with normal ups and downs and I was his first but it's been two months of pure radio silence since the BU and while I get hurt and upset at the fact that I feel "thrown away", I can't make someone like me and wouldn't want to waste my own time, energy or dignity trying to seek out revenge.
Author Angel luis Posted March 3, 2014 Author Posted March 3, 2014 @musing Your technically right. But then again she's giving me bread crumbs, and I'll be a fool to fall for it. She has some stuff that belong to me but in my point of view I'll just buy some new ones. Im simply not contacting her back, that makes me a better person why? Because I'm being mature and accepting her decision, but by her wanting to see me or sending breadcrumbs then that just shows that she's playing games bro. Before the break up she had me giving her 100% of me but now I'm just about done even if she ever wanted to come back. She need to work hard to get me back.

You think they are bread crumbs when maybe she.... just wants her stuff back. You're being a typical dumpee, you harbor thoughts of revenge, her crawling back to you begging you to take her back after realizing what an awful mistake she made. You're also over analyzing every thing, she texts you about her stuff, you think they are bread crumbs, I'm betting if you actually went and met her, you're the one who'd be more nervous expecting stuff to happen. Give her back her stuff. Every single thing, so she has no excuse to contact you..then if she's still sending little texts and such, then you might be onto something with the bread crumbs.
Author Angel luis Posted March 3, 2014 Author Posted March 3, 2014 @darren steez Your absolutely correct. But it's just some movies, well for sure I'm gonna return them to her if that's what she wants. I can recognize that I'm really stubborn and I was hurt because it didn't work out, but now I looking out for my self, I'm going to continue the no contact because I could accept the defeat and walk away.
