markolson Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 umm what. that was a text I recieved this morning from my girlfriend I texted her saying "wow! icy and cold out. damn!" and she said back "yeah buddy" i had no idea what to say back and honestly, i feel like thats what a friend would say. should i be questioning this?
Smthn_Like_Olivia Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Ummm...no? Sounds like friendly banter. What's to question? 1
kodakgirl Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 No, you should not be questioning this. People play with the way they address people all the time. I say "yes sir" a lot to friends and family. Most of the time to women. It indicates absolutely nothing about what I think about them, or even the situation, just one of those things I started saying one day. We all have them.
brok3npromise Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 No. Sounds innocent to me. If you want better communication, dial the phone and call her.
jefermelesyeux Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 it's a jersey shore reference. i say it all the time, even to the guy i'm interested in. nothing to worry about.
Guy On The Couch Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Yes question this! Yeah Buddy!!!!! Remember it's cold out, who else might be keeping her warm? YEAH BUDDY!!!!! 2
ChessPieceFace Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 I thought it was nothing until I found out it was a Jersey Shore reference. Now I think you should seriously question this relationship. 2
Million.to.1 Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 I reserve the tittle "buddy" for people I don't like, but know reasonably well. "Hey Buddy, how are you?" basically means.. "oh ****, not you asshat. We've made eye contact now I have to make small talk with you till I can find a suitably lame excuse to walk away."
