irc333 Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Okay, a NON-dating profile situation here. I knew a guy that I had asked "So how's it going with you and Laura these days? And he said, "Well, apparently an old "friend" from out of town came back into her life....and well..that's why she's not with me today." Anyone ever been a situation such as this, you were dating someone exclusively, until an "old friend" came back into their life?
KathyM Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 I know a couple who were supposedly happily married, and then an old flame of the husband came into town for a high school reunion, and he ended up divorcing his wife and running off with the old flame from high school. His kids were devastated, of course. I know a couple who have been exclusively dating for many years. An old flame of her's (who is now married) rekindled the relationship with her and she was about to leave her long-time boyfriend to run off with this old flame who was married to someone else. Fortunately, the MM came to his senses and stopped contacting her.
