jinandjuice Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 What can be the biggest compliment when you ask the person you are dating what they love about you? Personality, eyes, arms, abs etc ? If someone was like "oh I love your calves versus I love your personality". For example would it be better for a girl you are dating to love your eyes or looks versus personality and humor?
Mr. Nibbles Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 My mom always used to say, "everyone loves a compliment." It's true. Stop worrying about which one is the best and start working on your complementing skills.
kenneth1010 Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 For example would it be better for a girl you are dating to love your eyes or looks versus personality and humor? Depends on how long you have known each other. Say you were friends for a long time, if i had to choose, it would be my personality. If you had only recently met, of course it would be looks based as you would barely know each other. Not a big fan receiving personal compliments anyway, professional compliments i have no issues with.
acrosstheuniverse Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Always prefer a compliment about my personality tbh, but make it specific. The nicest compliments I ever received were 'I thought I loved music until I met you!' 'I've never known anybody so strong' or 'you work harder than anyone I've ever met' that kinda thing. Physical compliments are nice too but not sexual unless you're in the moment. Compliment her eyes or her laugh, not her body.
OhThatGirl Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 The best compliment? A genuine one. There's no girl in the world that will think "ugh, he said I have a beautiful smile.. I wish he would have complimented my eyes instead" or "omg I can't believe he said how much I make him laugh and completely disregarded my new earrings" Hahaha. Just a genuine compliment. As long as it's not overtly sexual they're all pretty great. 2
