Corduroy Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 so theres this girl at my work who keeps flirting and she trys to ask me out, the thing is i'm not interested in her at all and i don't want to lead her on. i'm nice to her and we talk, only because i don't want to be rude. i'm afraid shes getting the wrong message from me now. should i just give her the cold shoulder or what?
zeemov Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 if ur certain she wants to date you or she really asked u out then id be straightforward and save her the trouble if not then id be very careful as to not give any sign of interest or flirting just to make it clear to her that she shouldnt waste her time...
Peanut9330 Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 When she asks you out again simply state that you're not interested in a romantic relationship and remain professional with her. 1
d0nnivain Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Because it's work, cold shoulder will be too rude. Next time she tries to ask you out, tell her you are flattered but that you don't date co-workers. (This will backfire on you if you turn around & date somebody else from work shortly thereafter).
somedude81 Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 What's wrong with being honest? "I'm sorry, but I'm not interested." I've never actually had to reject a girl, but that's what I'd imagine I'd say to a girl in one of my classes who seems a little too friendly towards me, if she ever tried to get my number or ask me out.
