I met her at a restuarant for drinks. She was already at a table and had ordered a drink. She is 25 btw. I have to say the reception seemed a bit cool. No smile. Her eyes were looking away from me. And at one point her arms were crossed. I thought to myself that this was not going well. I ordered a dessert which we shared. Eventually she seemed to warm up she was laughing a lot and smiling. Playng with her hair, and making eye contact.

After the date she called a friend to come pick her up. We took a walk while we waited for her friend. Talked about where to eat next time. We said good night.

When I got home about forty minutes later I noticed that she had called me twice..and later sent me a text asking if I got home ok. So even though I got a cool reception in the beginning the fact she called and texted after must mean she is interested..right?

Yes. Why would a stranger (in essence what she was) call you twice and talk about next dates if she wasn't interested?

Your perception of a cool reception could be someone who is shy, sizing you up, or may have gotten off on the wrong foot. Regardless, she wouldn't call you twice if she wasn't interested.

Her initial demeanor was due to her expecting to either be rejected or not liking you. She's obviously been on a lot of blind dates. If you like each other, that is all that matters.

She sounds interested to me. Meeting someone from the Internet was probably just as new for her as it was for you, and she was uncertain/shy/unsure of whether you would like her in person.

Post your own ad up on craigslist and see what kind of weirdos you get responding. She was probably preparing for the worst and then you walked in being all normal and stuff ...

Yes, that is true. She said it was her first time meeting someone for a date. Previously it was just to sell textbooks. But for me, I have met a number of women from CL:D

Since it's Craigslist, there's always the real possibility she's trolling for money, so just be careful and don't give her any money. I don't know any women who would advertise on Craigslist for a date because it is known to be so dangerous and disreputable.

That would be my concern too.

Research, research, research.

Google, Facebook, Whitepages for her house, and more.

She may be the one for you, but don't assume anything.
