drg2365 Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Ok so I met this girl online. I hadn't even been on that long/use it extensively/met anyone else. We exchanged a few good emails back and I got her number. We went out very soon after that and had a very fun date that lasted nearly 5 hours, with her doing a lot of the talking. She was very nice and seemed sweet, but kinda of darted out of my car when I dropped her off at where we met up so no kiss or anything like that. (last Friday) Called her a day later, she picked up, chatted briefly, offered up a second date, she said ok. Texted about every other day, I did not push anything. We went out tonight. The plan was to go to a museum and get ice cream. I offered to pick her up at her house but she said verbatum "I would feel more comfortable if I met you this time. I trust you and everything but I don't want to meet at my house on our second date" Fair enough. Well the museum turned out to be child oriented (super misleading name lol) but we share a laugh about it, and decide to go to a cool restaurant about 15 minutes away. We both drove there. Dinner was great. Only really ordered appetizers, she talked a ton again, stayed there nearly 3 hours. Well as we are leaving we are walking to her car and I said I had a good time, she agrees, both want to do something again, but I only kissed her on the cheek when we gave each other a hug. Something tells me I should have made more of a move (it being 20 degrees outside didn't help). She seems to be kind of shy in an indecisive way, and that's coming from a rather shy guy himself. What should I do both as a date and with her for date #3? I like her, she has a personality I click with (our two dates combined went 8-9 hours) and I'm not just trying to get laid. But I suck at this, can you guys help me out with some advice please? Thanks

I was thinking of walking around a really nice park downtown after the weekend since we just went out. I guess some of my friends are making me paranoid because I only gave her a kiss on the cheek. Is that bad? I didn't get any super strong signals, but she is a little on the awkward side . I just don't really know what to do, I don't want to bring anything up too soon but than again I might be going too slow...
