Roselyn Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 So I am blushing...cheeks are flushed...adrenaline pumping after a mere phone conversation with a Capital One employee. To be fair though, he was flirty. Really flirty. Wasn't professional at all. The other day I sat next to a man and it set me off. It's not often that it happens and I'm keenly aware of the opposite sex. But what is wrong with me? I'm slapping myself. I know I'm frustrated. Emotionally/ sexually. Dating as a Christian is so hard. Because there's such a small pool of men willing to wait for you...among other things.
FitChick Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Meet men at your church socials and through church members. Join a Christian dating website. 1
OhThatGirl Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 The more you try to prevent this, the more it will happen. The more you are aware of it happening and become anxious about it, the worse it will get. The more you think about it the more likely it is to progress. Get on a Christian online dating site. Talk to men on the phone. Go on LOTS of dates. Even guys you're not that attracted to. When you start getting jaded the butterflies will stop. The blushing will disappear. And you will be just as disappointed in men as the rest of us. Having fun yet? Lol But really... Just embrace it. I wish I could blush on cue. I think guys love it. It's endearing. It's an ego boost. Just let them have a moment of being acknowledged and quit worrying about it. 1
Gaeta Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 This is very normal As you gain dating experiences it will dissipate. I am 48 and I blush if I get an unexpected compliment from a random man and I am very very, I insist, very experienced in dating. As the others have mentioned if you are looking for a specific man, one that lives with your Christian values, it's better for you to search where these young men hang out, Christian youth activities, Churches, Christian online dating. Good luck.
