somedude81 Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Thanks ladies. I definitely have things to keep in mind and that there were mistakes I made and to try to do better for the next time. 1
Eggplant Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 It's a strong feeling that I'm getting over and over from my life experiences and other stories I've heard. Plus, from this thread, nobody has agreed with me that it's important to talk about what is bothering you.A lot of the women in my family, more than the men, are passive aggressive because they try to be agreeable and bottle up their grievances, but it inevitably comes out in (passive) aggressive non-verbal communication that undermines the bond of the relationship. 1
Badsingularity Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Would that really be OK? Just ask her if she's happy or if she has any issues? Yes. Just know that some of the things you hear might sting or hurt a little. If this happens it's very important to not let it effect your emotions. Just keep your emotions level, listen to what she's saying and think about how you can improve the issues. 1
Els Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Hmm. Would that really be OK? Just ask her if she's happy or if she has any issues? Yep, perfectly fine. I can see it being annoying if you were to do it, say, every day , but once in a while it should be all good. 1
tbf Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Emotionally healthy people having emotionally healthy relationships? I'm aghast!
