selfimprovement Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 25 y.o. male. First date with a girl my age I met through friend was pretty good. We kissed goodbye, but I didn't ask for a second date that night. Texted her the same night, "Had a great time. Did you make it home safely?" (won't go into details as to why I didn't walk/drive her home). She responded about 12 hrs later, "Aww yeah me too! Thanks for dinner! I did indeed get back home ok thanks to my mother's safe driving." I wanna go on a second date to get to know each other better. I am gonna text her tomorrow to ask for a second date, but I wanna play it cool. What should I say?
Barbarossa Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Just keep it casual and ask if she would be interested in going on a date in the upcoming week.
MuffMan6969 Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 How about " Hey would you like to go out Saturday night? Taco Bell is running a special on Crunchy Beef Burritos"...The worst thing that could happen is she says "no"....
d0nnivain Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 I'd call not text to add more personal touch. Say I really had fun. Would you like to go out again on __________ ?
BikerAccnt Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 How about calling her, you know, by voice, instead.
TheNewMe2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Keep it casual is the biggest thing. Don't call it a date. Calling is probably better (though texting can work too).
