I was with my ex partner for 17 yrs there was an age gap but it never stood in the way it had then I had a breakdown I lost all my confidence I thought I wasn't good enough got stuck in a black hole with no way out my ex kept telling me not to put myself down and to do more for me as he always said I put others first I have since got help and now know he was right he has only been gone for about 6 weeks but I have since found out he is in a relationship with his brothers ex wife who is same age as me I thought he left me for a younger model This has rocked the family my ex is uncle to his brothers children . The problem is her she had affair when she was with her ex she made a play for my ex when he was at low point every time the family got together she would tell my ex parents and any one who would listen that she got the wrong brother as you can imaging hurt like hell my ex family have been very supportive of me his brother ex is a very nasty person and hurts most people whom come in contact with her . Friends and family that know us Have all said how unhappy my ex looks his dad told me that he will be back with his tail between his legs I still love him very much people have told my friends that she has only done it to prove a point that she can have anything she wants I am being so stupid in loving him the way I do
