So there is this girl that I met online about a month ago that says she is too shy to meet up yet. She seems interested because we chat every day for a few hours and we both initiate the conversation rather evenly.

After the first few days I asked if she wanted to meet. That is when she said she wanted to get to know me better and that meeting new people was really uncomfortable to her. Then a couple weeks later I asked again and she said that she feels the same as before. Last week I then asked if she will tell me when she is ready or should I keep asking every once in a while and she said that she will tell me when she is ready. Just two days ago she went out of her way to find me on facebook and added me and she has deleted both of the online dating accounts that I know of hers.

I understand what it is like to be shy as I use to be really shy before and it doesn't bother me that she is shy herself. We have a lot in common and I really want to meet her so I can truly know her. Is there anything I can say so that she knows that she doesn't have to be afraid to talk to me or to help her feel more comfortable?

Maybe...give her some space. You know like, let her miss you. Don't go MIA but just stop talking to her for a few days and see if she wants to change her opinion of meeting you.

Cause seriously, if you pull away (just even a bit) she'll feel like she's losing you.

The fact that she is waiting so long to meet could mean she is

1. a 12 year old girl

2, A man
