Could anyone recommend any relationship-type books for me? It would also be nice if you could include a short run-down of what the book is about. I have a lot of free time for reading these days.

I apologize if this has been posted before!

My husband has "Relationships for Dummies". I've never read it, but he seems to do a fair job. In the Bible, the book Song of Solomon (Old Testament) provides you with much you need to know about love, sex, marriage and romance. It's a little taboo, you won't hear a lot of sermons taught on it, but VERY interesting. Good luck.

most of the "dummies" series of self help books are for simpletons. they don't go into too much depth on specific issues but give more a global and general view.

there is a website called loveadvice.com that has some good reading on it about relationships. go in under the advice column function and you'll see letters and advice for the last few years. here is the link: loveadvice.com

Or lovingyou dot com. It's full of info, but mostly cool ideas.

Thanks - I'll look at those. The reason I asked for books, though, is because I don't have internet access at work & I need something to read during downtime! Something about reading a book is more satisfying than clicking around on the internet, anyway. ;)
