notyouraveragebabe Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Ok, so I went earlier and only lifted weights & now I want to go back to do some cardio. Is it embarrassing to go back again?
Tayken Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Ok, so I went earlier and only lifted weights & now I want to go back to do some cardio. Is it embarrassing to go back again? NO IT IS NOT.....I was there at 8am today doing weights also, squats to be specific and then some kettle bells. I then did some laps and sprints around the tracks Finalized with some Yoga poses / stretches...which helps a runner like me to stay in the game. Got to keeps those joints lubricated and flexible
Grumpybutfun Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Of course not. Weight training and cardio are two different aspects of fitness and people do this all the time. I spent time today on the elliptical trainer, lifting weights and then came back later for MMA classes and sparring. G

Tayken Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 What is a ding dong? G Rhyming slang for a fight / argument. E.g....the couple were having a bit of a ding dong

G Damn Grumps, I date women, but I think you might be my hero and personal Jesus Christ (and I'm Jewish which makes that all the more impressive) ...... and to think my old man crush was Hugh Jackman . 2

thefooloftheyear Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 I'll do two a days, mostly in the summer time...I split the routine so instead of doing shoulders and arms, Ill do shoulders in the AM and arms in the PM.. It does work well as you have a chance to focus more heavily when you know you are only doing one part at a given time..The only problem with it, is that if you have a busy life(I run a hectic business and have a little kid), you start to feel like you have priorities off whack...Even though the workout is kind of the same length, when I do two a days, I feel like I am there all the time and neglecting other important aspects of my life.. .02 TFY 1
