Roselyn Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 I don't know what to say. I'll start off by saying I have very few friends. A friend I had for three years just flushed our relationship down the toilet after meeting this guy who was a notorious flirt. He'd sent me personal invites to his house, a restaurant, etc. She knew about this. Hid that they were seeing each other. Made up numerous lies to see if I liked him. When I listed what I knew about him ( which included him pursuing one of my friends while he was still married) she began resenting me. And completely stopped talking to me. It was the first guy that I've known to really compliment her. He knew her for a long time but only talked to her after she lost weight. She lost about 60 pounds. Literally the week after they broke up he was seeing someone else. I always knew he was a jerk. I'm just saying that the worst relationships I've ever been in have been with women. Not men. I read that the average friendship lasts only 3 to 5 years. I'm still hurting and angry with her. Just a rant.
Hornylildevil Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 I had a friend like that. Friend, as in past tense. He was a real womanizer and would quit a woman once she had feelings for him. I've never trusted charmers, they're always as superficial as I don't know what. I can say many women i've known preferred male friends as women tend to be too complicated. As to the average friendship, I tend to have friends for decades. But that's me. If your friend can't see that you were trying to help her, it's on her.

I can honestly say I keep male friends longer. I've gotten enough of getting my eyes clawed out . Not all girls are like that, it's just my experience in having insecure friends, I guess. A guy comes along...
