the other day I reached my 4 month mark since the bu. I didn't have it memorized, just when I was sitting there, and a thought of her popped up and I tried to remember how long it had been. for all of you fresh into the break up, I'm sorry! it's by far is one of the worst feelings to go through! I've read many posts on here and one thing that I wanted to say is that, no relationship is the same! please do not read other posts and get false hope. I was one of them. I had hoped that someday she would reach out to me like I read on many other posts. the "breadcrumb". she never did. many will feel terrible if they do get one, and they will feel just the same if they don't. the truth is, there is no win situation in this. another thing, when people say, focus on you right now, yes that's very important, but keep in mind that whatever you are doing to try to better yourself, won't happen overnight. that was another thing I did wrong. at first I basically worked myself to death to make myself happy, and it was doing the opposite. do small things, but keep at them and eventually they will make you happy. watch your eating habbits! I lost 30 pounds because I stopped eating right, well more like stopped eating all together. this is important because its your body, and you need to stay healthy. Don't do drugs or Drink over your limit. yes I know there people out there that drink and do drugs, and if you do, that's all good. what I mean is don't go overboard. I smoked bud for the first time in ten years thinking it would help me. it didn't, it just depressed me with a bunch of emotions. finally, when you think of your ex, try to push the thought out of your head as quickly as possible! its hard, very very hard, but you need to! the less you think of them, the easier things will get sooner!

remember , try to appreciate every day, and love again.
