I have a question about an ex of mine whom I considered at one time a friend we have know one another for about 20yrs now.We started talking last year on the phone and online aswell ,talked about our signifigent others and children we have now and for some reason he would every time belittle my husband which I could never figure out why no matter what or how I brought up my husband he belittled him for no absolute reason and come to fine out the things he was telling me saying he has financially and what not were not even true he took some things in his life and a few made up and stretched the truth why would he do that? Not like he had to impress me or anything. Was that is motive IMPRESS ME.?

maybe he is just jealous of your husband. not that he even needs sexual feelings for you to be jealous, but some men and women have this little same sex friend/ relation jealousy thing.....lets say you had it and your buddy guiy had some GF, since you are the jealous-of-other-type...you may say snide things about the GF.

just a theory....How about you ask him why he does it, and tell him you do not appriciate it?

another reason why ex lovers should not remain friends or even in contact. YES, he was tring to impress you and maybe hook back up or make u jealous.

noooo....HE cannot be friends with you. He is the problem, not you. so do not make it seem like you were a part of his male mind.
