He sent me a few "how is everything" type emails but, we had a very very bad breakup and I just deleted them. He broke it off both times. Now two years later I start getting emails again. I decided to respond and it seems like his responses are trying to impress me. I guess I don't get what the point is. I would like to be friends possibly but, if he is using me for an ego boost or he is bored then of course not. Help?! Why would someone break up with someone else yet keep contacting them and tell them how great they are?
