In addition to my struggle for NC im struggling with thinking the grass is greener in my XAP life. I know i only saw and dealt with the good parts of him which makes it harder to see the bad. Also, since I started Nc, things in my own life have gone way down hill. Financialy its been hardest its ever been, my mom got bad news about her health and the weather here has been atrocious. So the grass is greener syndrome has consumed me durng this NC period which does not help at all. I guess im just looking for reassurance that my XAP life is full of struggles too just like anyone else and that hes probably feeling some of the same feelings as me but just not showng it. All the problems ive been dealing with the last few months i feel is karma coming back to me so im accepting it and dealng the best I can.

I never have got over that. I moved from England to USA thinking it is better and now I am trying hard to put my self out on the dating scene but just fear that women wont like me because I am just not exciting and so boring.

Kart are you kidding me?!!? American women LOVE a good accent :) That in and of itself negates you being boring**

And OP, I think Everyone gets a case of the grass is greener syndrome once in a while. I'm sure it's harder when an A ends and the AP doesn't end up with MM or MW... However. .. I used to think the grass would have been greener for me and kids if My H HAD left or I had Not taken him back... ugh.

I hear that ALL the time however if you see me face to face. You will say "you are Indian right" which is wrong, 1. I am Sri Lankan by descent and 2. I am born in England. Maybe it may overcome my boring lifestyle.
