Heys guys....

Me and my boyfriend of 3 and a half months have been experienceing some ups and downs lately....the main reason for this is that he takes me for granted and he agrees he does but he knows he shouldn't. He also got angry with himself because he said he wa soo stupid because he should appreciate me more than he does.

Anyway I'm trying to work out why he feels this way... we haven't been together that long and he feels totally comfortable with me .. he has no shame anymore etc which is fine but it makes me think that he doesn't want or need to impress me anymore and that i feel like he treats me as if we have been together for 3 yrs not 3 months.

Iworry that his complete comfort with me may be my fault... like i make too much of an effort to make sure he is comfortable , make him feel welcome etc. its just part of my personality i don't want ppl to feel akward around me.

Also i think it may have something to do with the fact that we slept together early on ... this was because i was just getting over my ex was currently very very casually seeing an idiot when i met him and i thought that he too would be a casual fling.

Anyway how can i make my boyfriend get out of his comfort zone and realize that no he doesn't just have me... i could be gone like that because no we are no married and i don't intend to be.

sorry if i'm reading it wrong. it sounds like you don't want to be with him. who was the casual fling? the ex or this guy?

well from what i'm trying to understand is that this current guy is basically not meeting your emotional needs. maybe he's too quiet about things. don't know what it is. if you could explain more it would give me a better picture.

basically if he's comfortable, make him miss you. it's either this or you have to talk to him. but actions speak louder than words.

good luck.
