marklioope Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 we were suppose to go out for dinner last night for valentines day. we had a bad snowstorm so we postponed it. this morning she asked i i worked tonight and i said no. well then my manager texted me saying she had no help tonight and asked if i woud work and i said yes. i told my girlfrend i was going to work tonight and she said "ohhh" i said "did you have something planned?" and she said "yes going to dinner" i said " i am so sorry, i feel so horrible now" she said " don't worry about it babe, you need the hours" i said "i feel bad im sorry" she said "its ok dont worry about it" i figured since she worked at 8 we wouldnt be doing anything. i feel horrible though. should i feel like i let her down?

Plus, you're helping out your boss. Do plan to take her out someplace really nice the absolutely next chance you get! (You're not the only one who got screwed by the weather this year!)

I know but I hate letting people down. If I knew she had plans for us going to dinner tonight I wouldn't have said yes. But like I said, she is scheduled to work until 7 or 730 so i figured we wouldn't be seeing each other tonight

Ever been that guy always chasing a girl only to have her not make things, cancel or flake? Well now you are showing her that you're someone of importance. Just remember to make it up to her big time next time you guys meet up!
