newmoon Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 my best friend of 10 years, who is also a collegue just had his book published and he is having an author signing at a bookstore next week. I will be going, but I also thought maybe I should show up with something. what would you suggest as a congrats gift for an author at their signing? (he's male). I have literally no idea but want to bring something. thanks.

Or if you don't want to spend the bucks on a "really nice" pen, maybe an inexpensive pen with engraving unique to his book. It could be the book title, the copyright date, the number three to signify his third book, or whatever.
