Easyguy14 Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 I met her yesterday to get my income taxes filed after receiving bunches of text messages to come down so I finally took the offer up. She was a Latin beauty about 25-26, strongly resembles Olivia Hussey from Romeo & Juliet of 1968 so you'll know what I'm talking about. We kept shooting glances over the filing so I struck up some conversation about Valentine's Day and she told me she had no valentine and hasn't for a long time because she's been alone, which I found so odd given how attractive she is. Lo and Behold, she's admitted to finding comfort in being alone since no guys have asked her out in long time. She claims they only stare . I can believe that. I asked her if she liked sports and she smiled and said she loved basketball. I was impressed with that. And she added being a Melo fan. Okay? So I asked for her number but she only gave me her business card with the job number and said I can call whenever I wanted to talk to her. The thing is, why give a job number and not her cell number? I sense interest from her but it sort of seems reserved, not sure. I guess I can use some advice on where to go in terms of pursuing this or letting it be and if any guys in here would use this as enough encouragement to pursue.

deathandtaxes Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 It may be her way of seeing how truly interested you are in talking to her over the phone. Go ahead and call!!
HappyLove Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 CALL ALREADY! Why sit around making up scenarios?
Guitarisgood Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Maybe thats the reason why she's been single for so long. She's got her walls up so high she is going to make you jump through hoops to get to even the first date. If you can actually 'bump' into her in person instead and ask her out then that'd be better than the call. Don't play her 'games' but your own.

Yea I suppose I can just drop back into her office and ask her to lunch or get the phone and see when she's free. And if I get any resistance then I'll drop her and move on. Sounds fair enough. Thanks for the input people!
desperategirl Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 I think you should try it out. Sounds like you were getting a good vibe from her.
