ithappenedagain Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Today, I am making a promise to myself to NOT SHED ONE TEAR over my ex. I am not gonna be lie. I have already fought off a few potential tears, but I must remain strong. Nothing will escape my eyes today. NOTHING.
Zahara Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 There's nothing wrong with letting it out. Suppresing it makes it even worse. It's always on your mind...mentally and emotionally draining forcing yourself to keep it in. Purging it out always makes me feel much better after. 2

All of my friends are doing stuff with their significant others. I really want to go out, but I cant find anyone to go out with. Hopefully that changes. It doesnt help that my ex stole one of my only single friends away from me. He now hangs out in her circle.. Who knows. Maybe they are an item now? Ugh. I guess NC helps me because I dont know what the heck is going on. And I guess he really wasnt a good friend anyways. Oh well.

All my friends being married and with boyfriends, I didn't have anyone to spend it with. So, I got dressed. Went to my favorite restaurant. Enjoyed my meal. Then I went to a movie. Big soda and box of Raisinets. Got home, jumped into my comfy PJs and felt good about the day and feeling independent. Valentines Day should also be a day where you can and must pamper and love yourself! 1

Last year he had flowers in hand and a box of chocolates for his wife. When he walked through the door, his wife left a note that she wanted a divorce and that she had moved out. He'll never look at V day the same again. Poor guy. I wasn't the kind to go to restaurants by myself either. But sometimes doing something that you aren't comfortable with can be very empowering! 1

I replied 'Why would you send me this'? Nothing back which I'm glad for. I've had a few weak days but getting my strength back. I don't have a choice

Sad but that's life I guess , fingers crossed we both meet our Autumn!!!
