my X a Separated man and I mutually decided to broke up but we still communicate

Hello guys Im a newbie here and I badly needed advice, anybody out here who dated separated man and broke up mutually because of hes not totally free yet?

 

Here's my story .

I met this wonderful, separated man online .we click to make story short we dated exclusively for 5 months. We are living from different state.

I met he's friends, coworker and hes 2 year old son.

HES Wife knows already about me although I haven't meet her yet but he's been so honest from the very beginning about he's current state. They been separated and living separately for over a year now.

I am single no kids although I embrace the reality about hes situation but I cant avoid sometimes to feel something each time there's some changes about our dates that we suppose to have. I know dating with a separated man I should be geared up with patients and armored with tons of understanding but it frustrates him each time I feel bad at the same time we cannot change the situation.

 

Recently and the reason of our breakup was when we have to meet her and the baby and all three of them will go to breakfast. He added since he will be gone for 2 months for a business trip that he is worried living hes car outside so I was being stupid by saying , why not ask the wife to start the car for him while hes gone? He answered maybe she can dp that she have a key to hes house anyway and so he is. I was tormented with his answer.

SO I open up and said it is impossible for us to have a healthy relationship while he is trying to end hes married with him.

He agreed and even told me that he can feel distant to me each time he mention the soon to be x wife and I feel bad .

So we mutually decided to end our roller coaster relationship, and I ask him it means no text no phone call .He said not that extreme.

so we are still talking even he's abroad right now. He still update me he's day been and vice versa.

 

What should I do I pretend that everything is ok but I am really hurting

Do you think daily communication after mutual break up is ideal?

 

Please help me guys im so lost righr now.
