Chewybrwn Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 i've finally started seeing the guy I've been pursuing for the last few months. our first "hang out" was at his place at around midnight. kind of a last minute spontaneous deal. so we decided to watch a movie and chat about it. then he wanted to cuddle which i was excited but really nervous about. first he gave me an amazing back massage then i sat in his lap while we kinda just held each other. sounds like it went well, which is did.... the problem is that for me, it takes a lot of time for me to loosen up and feel comfortable with it. im generally not an affectionate person, but i want to be...what should i do to make this situation not so difficult?
HokeyReligions Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 just relax. sounds like you cuddled just fine with him. I'm an anti-touchy-feely person myself now. I dislike being touched at all, but I'm comfortable with my husband now. I just had to learn to relax, and be honest with him so that he didn't push me farther that I was ready to go.
Naive Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 Like Hokey said, you have to relax. Don't push yourself either!!! Whatever feels comfortable. With time you get used to it and you probably will initiate the cuddling
Spider-Man Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 Well I kinda just hold the girl and she kinda holds me and we sorta just relax and chill togather holding each other. Just have to make sure my web doesn't stick to her.
SoleMate Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 Cuddling usually happens on the couch, or possibly on a blanket outside whilst you are picnicking. (Avoid the bed unless you are comfortable with the implications thereof. Not that things can't get steamy on the couch as well.) Sit or lie next to each other, and use your arms and/or legs to drape around and hold the other person. Stroking is optional. You can adjust your position as much as you need to, and it is thoughtful to ask, "Are you comfortable?" Relax, let your cares flow away...
