But he told me that he proposed twice because I apparently didn't like the way he proposed the first time and made him wait and propose again! LOL that sounds like me! I don't even know where we were. I guess the second proposal was acceptable to me because we've been married 28 years. 1

We had talked about getting married, but my husband still surprised me on my 18th birthday by getting down on one knee and proposing. 1
