Whee talking about a thread that has gone off the rails! OP is either really, really dense or he's just playing the forum. If the latter, please, please delete this thread. If the former, god help any people he is actually a home health aid for.

OP - NEVER, EVER SEND UNSOLICITED PICTURES OF YOURSELF TO ANYBODY EVER. are you clear on that? Good.

"Unprofessional behavior usually elicits this type of response."

My dating life or lack thereof has nothing to do with my profession. The email was personal, not business. Did you read the original post?

"Might I suggest you try a hooker next time"

You might and I might, although I'm a health nut and to me "hooker" sounds like "walking STD depository" but I digress.

Anyway, I didn't call a dating agency. I called an employment agency. She, out of the blue, brought up girls. What do my sexual tastes have to do with my wiping the butts of 95 year old men for $10 an hour, something which I'm quite skilled at and someone's gotta do it? That's my question.

"Seriously weird my friend."

Oh dear, quite right old chap, written by a citizen of a nation which reveres as "royalty" a young man who semi-publicly goes running around totally nude.*

I'm sure if he were a humble diaper changer like me he'd be canned at once.

Why wouldn't you just say, "Sure, I'm single, I wouldn't be opposed to being introduced to some nice ladies."? Then leave it at that.

I am not a royalist, but that`s another thread.

You really don`t think its weird?? (not an old chap a mere Chav`, that was Britain in the 1950`s.)

This is not an age thing i hope. Will all i have to look forward to is sending pictures of me in my `strides?`

I think you got your answers here.

This thread have kept me up way past my bedtime.

Yes, she brought up girls. Did she ask you to send her a pic of you in your underwear? Couldn't you have sent her a full length pic of you in a suit or some other form fitting clothes to get your point across?

Can you answer those two questions directly?

Your first mistake was mixing the two (business and personal).

Even if the woman brought it up, you should have declined to mix business and personal issue. She's responsible for her career, and you're responsible for yours.

I did read your thread but anytime you are dealing with someone you work for, work with, may work with in the future or someone you worked with before, you should always act professional. She was an agent that was getting you work. Therefore you should have treated her in a more professional manner even if she did volunteer to find singles for you.

Lightening up the thread a bit, here is a HILARIOUS video I saw recently about selfies. Died laughing!

The video has a girl asking for relationship advice in the modern world of dating, as the main character, so it's definitely Live Shack material. ;)

Hey man. Stop comparing yourself to underwear models. First off, they're probably the hunkiest dudes on earth and they get paid to model underwear. It's. Their. Job. You're a 53 year old man. Not comparable.

Underwear models are on billboards, yes. The reason this is acceptable is because people appreciate looking at them more than they appreciate looking at a 53 year old dude in his underwear. But more importantly than that, underwear models are not threatening. They're faces on a billboard, completely still and harmless to any woman walking past, they're a fantasy that those women will never meet or interact with on any level. They're there for everybody to see. They're safe.

A 53 year old guy sending a private, unsolicited email of himself in his underwear to his 58 year old married female boss is not safe in any way. It's threatening, it's sexual, it's completely inappropriate. It's something that only she can see, sent directly to her. From somebody that she knows and has to interact with, and worse yet has to interact with due to work rather than choice. At best, she will think you were hitting on her. At worst, you have intimidated and harassed her and she may have huge concerns about whether you are a predator or not. As other posters have pointed out, this could have huge ramifications for your career.

It's the same point at the beach. Wearing speedos there (not entirely sure wearing speedos is ever acceptable tbf but whatever, I'll roll with it...) is acceptable there because there are tons of people, it's hot, everybody is in shorts. In short, it's not threatening.

I get the impression she did not even ask for you to send a face pic, never mind this. So there was your first mistake. You need to hugely develop your understanding of social contexts. Oh, and a lot of girls don't even like buff young guys putting topless photos on dating profiles, so you can be sure as hell that your picture wouldn't be appreciated by many, regardless of how in shape you are.

I trust the thread starter has gotten the advice they needed at this point.
