"I have called my boss a dickhead, a moron and a jerk - and yes, an idiot"

If you're just kidding when you call people online an idiot I think you have to add an LOL or something. Cause I thought you were serious LOL!

Posted
"What if she has a young daughter who looks at her phone?

Bit of an inappropriate eyeful, isn't it?"

What if her daughter opens the the New York Times or a clothing catalogue and sees much more of an eyeful in an underwear advert?

Again, I don't know. Is this just a New York City thing that these kinds of photos are allowed in public but in Iowa or Idaho its a crime?

BTW, her only child is in her 30's.

Again, you're not responding to my questions, but deflecting.....

I thought my post was sufficiently tongue-in-cheek to not need that.

You really are not very able to pick up on social communications and boundaries, are you?

I'm serious there, by the way.

Your constant deflection of questions and legitimate comments makes me believe you may have a mental block as to being able to gauge the appropriateness of your words and actions....

What I'm getting so far:

Almost total nudity, if it's displayed publicly for all passersby, is OK. If it is displayed privately to one individual, it's not OK.

Frankly I would have thought the opposite. For example, public lewdness is a crime while private lewdness is not.

By the way, is anyone commenting here under 40? I'm just curious.

And I'm divorced with three children. So? They were not involved in this story.

Added the bold part to get this through your head.

yes, and we've taken great pains to tell you why....

Frankly I would have thought the opposite. For example, public lewdness is a crime while private lewdness is not.

Advertising underwear is not 'public lewdness' and the bodies in the underwear are being paid handsomely for their involvement. Private lewdness is just as undesirable as public lewdness, and just as open to condemnation.

By the way, is anyone commenting here under 40? I'm just curious.

Why is age of any importance?

I have now reviewed your posting history and can understand your reticence regarding answering my questions.

Sadly, this thread leads me to believe your ex-wife may have had some justification.....

There's no smoke without fire, and I note that you are unaware, or seem to be, of acceptable boundaries.

"Private lewdness is just as undesirable as public lewdness, and just as open to condemnation."

That may be your opinion, and you're welcome to it, however the Supreme Court seems in recent decades to have championed a "right to privacy". Check this landmark decision.

Griswold v. Connecticut - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Consenting adults in private can do what they want; in public they may go to jail. Which would have made me think that if a billboard is OK, then a private email is obviously OK.*

And Calvin Klein doesn't get advanced consent from every person who opens a magazine or walks down the street.

But whatever. I've got a feeling that the posters here are probably damn mad about underwear ads and speedos as well - am I right?

"Why is age of any importance?"

I think there may be a generational divide about this issue. Any opinions from twenty or thirty something's out there?

I don't think it is.

I am actually beginning to believe that the OP lacks certain 'social-brakes' and has no conscious ability to evaluate boundaries regarding acceptable behaviour, social interaction and suitable decent responses to certain stimulii....

This is not good.

in this day and age when social behaviour comes under such public scrutiny, in both the media and on ordinary interactive levels, in my opinion, he'd better start putting some parameters in place.

No one likes an old pervert. I mean, I can't imagine how any woman would find that appealing. You can be in perfect shape, but that kind of stuff spells pedophile or creepy old pervert. You should have worn a nice suit to show your sophistication. Younger women like that.

Here^^^this guy, phantom, is under 40 (I'm pretty sure). I regret that I can only hit the like button one time.

Take his advice.

There is so much diversion from the point in question, I just don't know where to start.

In response, I would merely indicate my previous post.

I really think the OP has difficulty being able to discern what is acceptable and what isn't. His previous threads may appear to bear this out.

31 yr old female here. Don't email shirtless photos of yourself unsolicited, because all it conveys is that you are looking for sex.

Are you trying to build a legal defense for being weird?

As an agent, she acts on your behalf to find work right? But her reputation could be damaged if she sent weirdos around to employers. So legal or not she made a judgement call to terminate the relationship.

PS. Don't email pictures of yourself in your drahs.

"yeah, but James Bond deserved it... let's face it. he's the epitome of the uber-active, action-packed hunky sexpot daredevil..

do YOU match that description, or are ypu more this type?"

Normally, I'd be glad to just email a photo to you which would answer that question. But now I know that only idiot perverts do that without prior receipt of a notarized consent form. I'll wait for your attorney to contact me.

I think, in hindsight, you may be the one who may need the attourney...

You need to address your complete inability to be able to gauge what is socially acceptable and what isn't.

Constantly diverting from your issue, is not helping your 'case' at all.

I think you may require a visit or two to a therapist.

I'm totally serious.

Dude get a grip. The bottomline is, the VAST MAJORITY of people will find what you did to be totally inappropriate and creepy. If you want to go on a world-wide crusade to change that, GOOD LUCK. If your goal is to meet women, then accept the fact that they'd find this behavior odd (at best) and just don't do it.

Is that so difficult?

OK, fine, maybe I am. So? If this lady wants to set me up with her friends she should tell them that. But should she scream at me and fire me? That's what I thought was over the top.

You're seriously beginning to worry me.

Is this perhaps what also worried your ex-wife?

Think about this, seriously.

This ranks as one of THE BEST Troll post's I've read here.

Why do you guys keep egging him on. It's all one big put on. But it does make for good message board!

Do these comments represent a certain demographic - white, rural to small cities, aged 50 and up, feel that American's gone to hell since Eisenhower left office?

I'm not making fun of anyone or saying there's anything wrong with that by the way.

Sorry, biker, I believe it to be real, which is why I took it, from a health care standpoint, seriously.

Unprofessional behavior usually elicits this type of response. She did exactly what anyone would have done in her position.

I live in one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world. I am mixed heritage.

I am 23....who is Eisenhower? Jk

You wanted an opinion of a young 'un, you got it.

Might I suggest you try a hooker next time, if you're after sex. Much less grief.

Seriously, you're the same age as my Dad. Grow up!

Was the underwear a florid but harmless shade or were they the type that can be blinding to the eye? An extreme hue of red for example. Or `big boy` emblazoned across the front?

Sorry but this is the most ridiculous thing ever to send. In health care as well! Seriously weird my friend.

`Now should i pick up those negatives on my way home?`
