FailedFirstLove Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 To the guys out there! Is it true that when your anger cools off (if you are angry) you start missing the girl after? And this could be months? But at the beginning everything is fine for you and you feel free?
flightplan Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 If you're talking about a guy being dumped... yeah, I was angry and yes I missed her a lot.. still do 3 months post BU. But I know it's for the best. As for feeling free? Never felt that. I enjoyed the relationship while it lasted.
d0nnivain Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Many people believe grief has 5 stages: Denial Anger Bargaining Depression Acceptance. Not all people go through all of the stages but yes, after being upset you may start to work on ways to get her back because you miss her. 1
tlegend Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Not all people go through all of the stages but yes, after being upset you may start to work on ways to get her back because you miss her. Expanding on this....this is why NC is vital. NC means you can not make an ass of yourself pining after the person who let you go and get on to the acceptance stage...
d0nnivain Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Just to clarify -- I'm not saying you should work to get her back but you are going to think about it. As tlegend indicated, going NC will help you avoid the embarrassment which comes from unsuccessful groveling.
Author FailedFirstLove Posted February 13, 2014 Author Posted February 13, 2014 Well his hella angry so I don't see him cooling down anytime soon... I was just hoping he would miss me and want to give me another try. Guys and their egos! I REALLLY don't care about embarrassment and stuff. I just rather let him know how much I do feel bad and hope for another chance
