I've already posted about this girl and here I am again in the same situation months later.. This girl keeps saying that she likes me, wants to see me more, but then in practice never has time for me. There is always some excuse. Recently, I've asked her out a couple of times and she turned me down both times saying she wasn't in town. I thought I was going to give up, but then later she contacted me asking to meet. So I suggested a couple of options that worked for me, but she didn't answer. A week later she emailed me saying she thought she had already replied me (lame excuse right?), she is sorry but she is leaving again for some trip. From her trip, she sent me a postcard with some "hope to see you soon, love, etc.". Now I know she is back, but I don't know if I should contact her or not (has been 2 weeks without contact now). Any advice? Why would she say she misses me, she wants to see me more when she obviously has no intention to do that? She just wants the attention? One option would be to talk to her about this, but it would be hard not to sound pathetic..
soccerrprp Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 I don't know the whole story, but you're definitely doing too much of the work. Step back and make her come to you and set a time to meet.

Find a girl worth your time who doesn't play games.

Her expenditure of her time shows what is important to her. That's why actions are a million times louder than words. A person can say anything, all you hav to do is take a breath and spit it out your mouth. To actually do something is a whole other story. She is simply getting an ego boost and some strokes by having you chase her. She has no actual attraction or desire for you. Let me put it this way, if Adam Levine asked her out, would she be too busy and not have the time? My suggestion is spending no more of your time and energy on her. Move on with other girls. If she contacts you about getting together say, "sounds great. Give me a shout when you are on your way to my house and I'll try to break away and meet you there." Then continue doing whatever you are doing assuming that she is not going to follow through. If she actually does ever show up then you can decide then if you want to give her the time of day or not.
