Ok so with Valentines Day upcoming, I need some advice. Around christmas, I met a girl online. We started texting back and forth quite frequently and things have progressed nicely. We have not met face to face yet, but our first date is this saturday. I feel the need to do aomething for valentines day and I was wondering if it would be ok to have flowers delivered to her place of work on friday with a note that said "Just thought you deserved to feel special on Valentines Day! Can't wait to see you tomorrrow! What are your thoughts on this??? Is this a good idea, or too much too soon?

Too much, too soon.

It's ok to wish her a Happy Valentine's day on Friday.

Wait and see how dinner goes with her ...... You two have not even met IRL ...... no need to buy her a gift yet.

If it's a match then you will have plenty of chances in the future to get her flowers.

Since you haven't met IRL it's a bit over the top. Send her a text on Friday that says Happy Valentine's Day. If you have her e-mail an e-card would be OK.

Giving her a single flower at your date (NOT a red rose) might be OK but that's inching toward over the top.

Ok what if I told you that she told me that she loves getting flowers at work? Does that changr anything?

Yes. Next year if you are still together you should definitely send flowers to her office. This year no.

To be frank, I disagree.

However, when I'm into someone, I am into them 150% I don't dally around with games.

You have been communicating with her steadily, yes?

She told you she loves getting roses at work?

Hell yes, send her roses. Be sure to note you remembered her mentioning she loves to get roses at work.

Have a happy valentine's day date!
