toml Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 I have just started to converse with a girl on facebook. she lives in denmark and i live in england. I added her on facebook a few weeks ago because my friend who also lives in denmark knows her and likes her. I said i would try to find out what she thinks of him! This is the background: So i sent a few messages over the course of the last few weeks and she replied sporadically to them. just generally talking about her country etc. Then i mentioned my friend Andy and said that hes a nice guy and she said yh hes a really nice guy too. Then i asked her if she was single and she said why and i laughed and said no it wasnt for me. (she is 18 and i am 25 btw) Anyway we have been talking every day now for the past week. during work lots of messages on facebook etc. she gave me her number so we could talk on watsapp. She said we shouldnt tell my friend Andy we are talking and that she doesnt talk to him much anymore because apparently he told her some lies. I really like this girl. She is beautiful and we talk hours during the day about stuff and i make her laugh and she makes me laugh. I dont want to mess things up. Any ideas how i should go about this? is she just talking to me as friends or she likes me?

Author toml Posted February 9, 2014 Author Posted February 9, 2014 no she said she only likes him as a friend. i asked her what she thought of me and what she liked about me. she said i was looking good and i am different to all the other guys. she said that she liked that i was interested in getting to know her and that i asked loads of questions about her

Author toml Posted February 9, 2014 Author Posted February 9, 2014 I spoke to my friend and came clean. He said he was happy for me as he hasnt spoken to her for a while and that he hopes me and her work out. She was the one who said we shud keep it secret. I didnt agree.

It'd be interesting to know his version of the story, after all, he's your friend. There's a good chance she just didn't want to lead him on, because he's not good looking. Comes to think: is that the kind of girl you'd like to be with? If so, go for it.

Maybe he was trying to impress her. Everytime he writes her she tells me what he has written. Like for example she said that andy wrote her wanting to meet in town for a festival. She said to him no shes not going and she even shows me her messages lol! She asked me what andy said when i told him that i like her and she likes me. I told her he was cool with it. I really like this girl. Is it normal as we havent even met yet or spoken on the phone?

It's more common than you might think to be liking someone you never met. You can idealize the person. Maybe she's better than you think, maybe not. You will only know for sure when you meet her. Just know that sometimes nothing clicks in person.

So anyway we have been talking for two weeks. She says i miss you a lot to me which is a sign she likes me more than a friend? She calls me babe and she lets me call her baby. Anyway i said lets speak on the phone as i have never hear her voice before. But everytime i call she says shes busy or doesnt have time or is out with a friend but that she does want to. What do i do? I want to skype her and hear her voice. Do girls feel the same way in that if they like a guy they would surely want to hear theor voice or skype them if they csnt see them in person?
