Drey4211 Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 How many people have you split up with? The older you get, the harder it gets. I'm 26 and she's 23. I've read the Grass is Greener and all the other great threads that people start on here. I have been upset with myself but it's was really my fault. It may always be my fault. I don't want to get divorced down the road. I've only met one girl that made me feel like she's easy to love. Love wasn't enough and I lost her. Now it's time to fix myself and figure out what it takes. Love is never enough.
Frank2thepoint Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 How many people have you split up with? The older you get, the harder it gets. For me, it's the opposite. The older I get, the more experiences I absorb, the more wisdom I gain, the easier it becomes for me to break up with someone that doesn't not fit me. The older I get, the less I tolerate "red flag" behavior. But I'm not cold. I understand compromise. And you are correct, love is not enough to make a relationship work. There are many other elements involved to make it functional.
