NYC-BigKat Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Yea I know its really really pathetic 'cause I tried to get with my cousin from down south but now its another cousin in the Bronx & I haven't seen her in a lot of yrs & we met again today at a birthday party & she's really really cute & we talked a lot & stuff & I cant help it I like her . Oh by the way she is 18 & I kept getting really close to her on the couch when we was alone & she kept blushing & stuff so maybe she likes me too? Anyway I got her # at the end & I'm gonna text her about hanging out next week. I'm not gonna do anything stupid so don't worry. I just feel really really good around her & my family didn't notice anything so maybe we could just be good friends & do some flirting & nothing more. I hope that's okay with u people .
Ninjainpajamas Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 The problem is you feed off any attention you get from the opposite sex and take it as a possible romantic interest, the other problem is you're gauging romantic interest from people who are your family, and from people who are young and inexperienced and maybe even a little confused on what is what themselves. You're taking advantage of a level of trust and comfort that you naturally have with family to fulfill your romantic/emotional needs, because you're so desperate you'd take any kind of attention you could get from a girl/woman. Now, I'm not saying extended family never looks at each other and raises an eye-brow thinking "Wow, they're pretty attractive/good looking" especially if they are distant/extended and you've never seen them in your life or for a million years...but that's pretty much as far as it should get, it's just not the best idea in the world to pursue that, besides being a bit gross...especially with the countless amount of unrelated people on the planet. I've read some of your posts here and there, they're always pretty ridiculous and a bit crazy, I'm a bit desensitized and not surprised to see this one...maybe you've successfully conditioned me to reading this kind of thing already where I don't even reply with much seriousness because I think for the most part you're harmless and just clueless, but I just hope you find someone maybe like you, someone who just needs some lovin that doesn't have the best sense in the world either...who is not related, c'mon man...keep looking, there's gotta be one girl out there somewhere...find her. 8
Leigh 87 Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Are you sure this guy is for real? I am from Tasmania, KING of "inbred" jokes. I am not sure if this guy is for real though:confused: 3

I feel really really good that u took time to respond to me. Its nice of u. I wont try to have sex with my little cousin I promise but the attention she gave me at the party felt good & I just want to stay in contact with her a lot & stuff & maybe she has cute friends she could introduce me to. I just need to be around a pretty girl right now but I wont touch her so don't worry. I just don't wanna be alone & sad all over again u know.
somedude81 Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 It really sucks being that guy who just doesn't understand how women work or get a decent amount of attention from them. I've definitely been there. Even now I miss getting female attention and am being frustrated on how hard it is to get. Though the main issue NYC-BigKat, is that you shouldn't count family members as girls. Yes I wanted to have sex with my female cousins, but that lasted until I was 16. I'm not too sure about trying to meet her friends.
FitChick Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 I think he's been getting dating advice from Woody Allen.

bubbaganoosh Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Try finding a girl that you not related to for a change ok? 1
Leigh 87 Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Why the jokes about Tasmania? Tasmania is the tiny Island at the bottom of Australia. A lot of people there I notice look funny.. different from the rest of Aus. People there just tend to be different from mainlanders. I grew up there for over 20 years and I never fit in. A long standing joke about Tasmanians is that they have "two heads". A common connotation that is associated with Tassie, is that it is very in bred. SO yeah when I tell people on the mainland that I am sort of from Tassie, they look at me funny and sometimes comment about my lack of two heads of strange looks.

Ya, you need to be really careful. It takes a great deal of honesty with yourself to even admit you have those feelings. Do not drink or do drugs with your cousin, or if you do, watch your mind like a frickin hawk. If you want to turn it into a positive feeling, be her protector, knowing you will not do anything that will hurt her, even if she comes onto YOU in a lapse of judgement. You can open yourself up to a world of shame and really bad feelings if something happens. You will feel guilt on a level you never thought possible. 1

Leigh 87 Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 I had wonderful sex with a second cousin once. its the first cousin where theres family issues. You're NOT supposed to have sex with your cousins!
Author NYC-BigKat Posted February 9, 2014 Author Posted February 9, 2014 Try finding a girl that you not related to for a change ok? Um...don't u think I've been trying to do that forever?! Its not like girls are just gonna like me for being a nice person u know. They don't care about it any more than anyone. So that's why I said maybe I can meet my cousin's friends & get with one of them if my cousin can put in a good word for me but I need to get close to her in the meantime ok?
Author NYC-BigKat Posted February 9, 2014 Author Posted February 9, 2014 first cousin is just too close. it'll cause too many waves in the family. but this won't happen with a second cousin and further cousins are even safer. Um...she's a 2nd cousin u know. She's 18 & me 25 but she's my other older cousin's daughter from my dad's side of the family.
Author NYC-BigKat Posted February 9, 2014 Author Posted February 9, 2014 (edited) daughter of a first cousin, on the border but little bit too close. a second cousin or even better a third wouldn't cause family issues. age thing means nothing because she's legal. to the busybodies an 18 year old having sex with a 99 year old is legal. I don't get it?? If she's my older cousin's daughter don't that make her a 2nd cousin since my older cousin is my 1st? Or is she 1st-1st cousin I don't know so confusing . Edited February 9, 2014 by NYC-BigKat mistake
StanMusial Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 I thought this sort of thing only happened in West Virginia.
