sak21 Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 well.. i was the 'dreadful' rebound guy (or so i think..). Long story short..been with her for 6 months..four good..one not so good one terrible.. Everything was happening too fast..' i love you's' at the two month mark..plans for the future etc..she was the angel from heaven in every aspect (kind,supportive,tender..the whole nine yards..) I was clueless..!never a rebound guy before..and i thought 'that's IT'..!! After the two month mark i became broke as a joke cause my bussiness failed and slowly felt down..this sort of depression had an impact on me of course, but she was there to cheer me up.. Anyway things went downhill from there on.. It been 3 months since the BU and 10 weeks NC..We have mutual friends(a married couple)from her side.. After the BU i didnt beg or pleed i was (almost) ok..i called only two times the first 20 days and that was it.. I decided to move on and became a better me..Hit the gym lost 20 pounds and starting my business again with good results.. At christmas she asked our mutual friends if they still talking to me..they said yes.. A couple of weeks ago i went to a three day trip to paris with a female friend of mine and post pictures on fb..(only landscapes.) Five days after, our mutual called me to ask about my trip..and said that she phone him and said : 'two girlfriends of mine told me that he went to paris..why didnt you tell me that?where did he found the money?he must have had them before or he must have found a rich new girlfriend..' All of this happend while i am almost certain that she is back with her ex mind you.. I have to admit that i still have feelings for her but WTF?????i find it rude and disrespectful...Any explanations why that sort of behavior?
monkeytine Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 She obviously is hoping that you're miserable without her. Even though she dumped you, sometimes it's still hard to let go. She may be regretting her decision, or may just be too selfish to want you to ever be happy without her again whether you want her or not. It gives her an ego boost to see you sad and lonely. Not to see you having more fun than her. On the other hand, she may genuinely be hurt. She may be wondering why you never went to Paris with her. She may be paranoid that you had the money all along but were just saving it for something/someone more special than her. Either way, bad situation :-(
