A friend of mine , who is 40 , prefers dating women 50 years and older mostly because he's noticed they seem to have their act together.

Of course that could mean mean many things, but a recent dating profile I saw kind of lead me to think where he's coming from.

This woman announced she'll be moving to my area near the end of this month. Prefers to take things slow as friends and prefers those that are intellectual and have a great sense of humor.

There was a very large city she was moving from to a small town where I live.

I sent her an email, and surprisingly she responded. she said she seriously got tired of the big city life and wants her and her children to enjoy the quiet life.

She said she's moving back in with her parents (she's 32), and going to college to get a degree, and until she's back on her feet..after that she'll find her own place to live.

She must've been recently divorced or something, but I've known even a real life divorced woman that had to move back in with her parents after her divorce because she was only a housewife when she was married, and nothing more. But she was taking action to get her college degree.

It seems there's a degree of "Starting over" after a divorce which entails living like I did when I was in my college years (very young), but at that time it seemed more age appropriate to still be living with your parents.

I've even seen the same situation with women in their 40's.

To listen to her talk, she seems very intelligent, determined, and stable...but with the economy and all...well, someone's you gotta do what you gotta do.

But I was wondering if this is something you'd steer away from or go for anyhow?

Of course, you know if MEN moved back in with their parents....well, it's usually a major turn off and deal breaker for women, but I think if it's the other way around, ....I think not so much.

I don't see a problem here.... just give it a try see what happens. What do you have to loose?
